Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delays are inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

Whenever possible you should call and schedule an appointment for your pet. However, we realize this is not always possible. So for your convenience, drop-off appointments are available for a slightly higher exam fee. A 'drop off' means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you, fill out a history form with details about why you would like your pet seen and leave him/her with us for a few to several hours. We ask that you drop off' sometime in the morning so our doctors have plenty of time to examine your pet and develop a diagnostic and/or therapeutic plan. Once the doctor has completed the evaluation of your pet, he or she will give you a call to go over the plan or discharge instructions.

For your safety and the saftey of the staff and all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date or updated during your pet's appointment.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash, personal checks, Scratch Pay and CareCredit.

Patient Arrival and Restraint Policy

Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to allow us to restrain your pet during physical exams and while performing diagnostics or treatments. For the same reason we do not allow members of the public into treatment or surgical areas. Dogs are required to be on a leash or in pet carriers when on the property including the parking lot and in the building. Again this is for the safety of clients, staff and pets. If you do not have a leash please let one of our staff know and we will happily provide one to you. It is highly recommended that cats be in carriers when visiting the clinic to prevent unintended escapes or injuries during travel or while at the clinic.
