To our clients regarding COVID-19:
Please DO NOT bring your pet into the clinic. Please call 530-587-7200 and a staff member will come out to you vehicle to take your pet inside.
As we move forward dealing with this pandemic we are taking steps to ensure your safety and the safety of our staff as well as the community at large. While the need for these measures is regrettable, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation. We are continuing to see appointments for the foreseeable future. While we are taking extra steps with clinic hygiene we are also instituting additional measures concerning appointments.
1) We ask that you have only ONE HEALTHY PERSON bring your pet to any appointment or pick up foods or medications. Please do not come into the clinic but instead call upon your arrival to discuss the situation as we have alternative means of assessing your pet's situation.
2) We ask that you bring your pet into the clinic parking lot to get checked in but then allow staff to take your pet to the treatment area of the hospital and that you remain in your car to await a phone call from the doctor seeing your pet (so make sure to bring your cell phone to the appointment). This strategy will allow us to get a full history and physical exam for your pet without the unnecessary risks of you remaining in the clinic. Staff will call you again when we are finished providing the necessary care for your pet. When your pet is checked out staff will return your pet to your vehicle.
We ask that you stay on the premises (in your car) for quick and easy check-out and in case we need to
speak to you in person.
3) We will be taking credit card payments over the phone as well when staff calls you for check out. We prefer if you do not pay with a check and we are temporarily not accepting cash payments. We can email receipts to you if you supply us with an email address.
For the health and well-being of your pets we are attempting to stay open as long as possible during this global crisis. Your cooperation will help to ensure we are able to do this so we can continue to provide care to all of your beloved pets. These are uncharted waters for all of us,
circumstances are changing almost hourly and we are doing our best to meet your and your pet's needs with minimal disruption to your lives. Your flexibility, patience and understanding are much appreciated.
